Member Activities

Following is a list of activities that the Blaine Jaycees participate in throughout the year.  It's not all work for us.  Members, please note the months when you must sign up for league play.  Don't wait for us to contact you.  Come to the meetings to stay informed.

Leagues

Softball

Spring is just around the corner.  Summer League starts at the end of April and goes until the end of July.  Fall league starts at the beginning of August and last until the end of September.  Fall league is double headers each night.  If interested in playing on a team this year, come to a meeting or contact us via email.  The signup deadline for summer league is in March.  Fee depends upon how many sponsors we get.

Broomball

Signup deadline for broomball is in December.  We play in the Be-Bops league.  Fee is about $10.00.

Bowling

The signup deadline for bowling is in September.  We bowl on Sunday nights at 8:15 PM at Blainbrook.  Fee is $10 per night, unless you can get a sponsor.

Just for Fun

Golf

We don't participate in a league yet, but if you would like to organize the members and get us into a league, by all means go for it.  Else occasionally we meet some late afternoon or early evening and hit that stupid little *%$@# ball around the course.

Skiing

We're thinking about downhill skiing at Wild Mountain sometime this winter.  If you would like to chair this event, let us know by either coming to a board meeting or general membership meeting, or emailing us.  We'll let the General Membership know as soon as a date is set.
