Minnesota Jaycees Invade Blaine
March 17, 2008 -- The Blaine Jaycees
were proud to host this years Minnesota Jaycees State Bowling
Tournament. The tournament was held March 15 and 16 and took place
at Blainbrook Entertainment Center in Blaine, which included teams from
Jaycee chapters from all around the state.
Blaine's
own Keith St. Marie took second place in the men's singles tournament that
was held on Saturday, March 15. In the team competition that was
held on Sunday, the teams from Blaine finished in fifth and sixth
place. The Mankato Area Jaycees took home the most trophies, winning
first in Women Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Team competition.
"We're pretty happy with how we placed this
year", stated event coordinator and Blaine Jaycee Tom Wegscheid.
"The really good bowlers from the Blaine Jaycees couldn't make the
tournament this year." Blaine has usually placed first or
second in the tournament for the past six years.
Over 15 chapters from across the state participated in
the event. The Blaine Jaycees would like to personally thank Donnie,
Michelle and Bernie of Blainbrook Entertainment Center for letting the
Jaycees hold the event at their establishment. Complete

The Blaine Jaycees, also known as the Anoka County Jaycees, are a not-for-profit community
organization located in Blaine, Minnesota. They volunteer their time to raise
